While not an exhaustive list, the below are some basics to keep in mind prior to running your first test.

  • What is the goal of your test?
    - Example: We have known issues around connecting social media apps and need some help surfacing these.
    ​
    ​

  • Known problem areas with your app?
    - Are there particular areas of your software (functionality, user flows, etc.) that present recurring issues for your team?

  • Device requirements?
    - Device, browser, and version information
    - Do you have particular requirements regarding Location or VPN connection?
